concept

For months before Katy began developing her collection, she came across “things”: people, objects, photographs, films, places. Her love for details instinctively made her pick up on them, the collection’s based on open and broad research and inspiration. The garments do not literally tell a story or inspire action, they are meant to be personal and luxurious. Every detail was meticulously designed and considered for who finds them and for whom would wear them, giving an overall feel of sumptuous refinement that can be worn every day. The garments do not pretend to be anything but themselves: a kaleidoscope of anonymous things and references held together with luxurious fabric.
