concept

Looking create a new system for pattern design which would allow the wearer to create their own outfits. In exploring new solutions Piret Pal used software to develop a digital pattern composed of 32 pieces which she then began to test by enlarging and reducing single elements. She came up with two separate groups of outfits strictly connected to each other. The first group of outfits - very experimental - worked as a trial to develop the second group. Functionality throughout the collection was key for Piret: the wearer had to feel a freedom to interact and change the outfits without loosing the element of wearability.
