concept

In fashion photography, clothes are normally portrayed as objects. In this series, clothes come to life and become moving beings taking center stage. Damien and Jeanne's objective was to visualise the “rebellion of clothes”, as if they were sick of just hanging off people’s bodies. Clothes are depicted with menacing behavior about to attack people, inspired by suspense films like those of Alfred Hitchcock. The garments are designed by Swiss artists and perfectly suit the concept with the fresh, colourful fabrics and aerial feeling. Only occasionally featured worn by models, just to hint at the styling.
