concept
Reflecting, refracting and changing shape, light is capable of communicating great energy. This is true both when the sun shines during the day as well as when lights glow in the dark. Translating this idea in jewelry pieces, each conceived as stand-alone art and built geometrically, layering colored light-conducting perspex, mirrors and brass. When the jewellery moves, light passes through the layers absorbing their energy, enhancing the colors and making the pieces glow brightly. To mimic lights glowing in the dark a couple of the designs is obtained with the use of LED lights. Great attention was given to the finish with a polished, shiny, glassy effect and the use of brass to refine the overall look.
