concept

Flat paper turns into a three-dimensional shape. This is the way of the traditional Japanese paper art known as “Origami”. In his accessories collection Yuima mixed it with technological fabrics. All of these accessories start from a flat, square shape. By touching and wearing them, they become three-dimensional, paying homage to the structure and architecture of birds’ wings. While not worn, they return to a flat square. Passing from a shape of simplicity to something more intricate.
