concept

"A Sort of Fairy Tale", is how Fabrizio Talia describes this project. A story indeed, about a woman recollecting the days of her childhood when she was happy and carefree. Now that she is old, life is not as easy as it used to, and it shows: Fabrizio visualised nostalgia of days past with broken masks of youth and details built from child dolls heads. One model made the reference as clear as could be, carrying a tiny black stroller. The entire collection pays tribute to an idea of fashion that Fabrizio will do on to develop some years later: a tribute to high fashion from the past, to constructions and attention to details that he’s concerned are at risk of being lost.
