concept
Once upon a time in the future, in a post-apocalyptic scenario, a survivor is woken up by a dream that evokes vague memories of the life “before” and her only distinct memory is a melody. A tuning fork with the pitch of A is her single utensil to produce the note she is pursuing. She gathers components to build musical instruments that will enable her to play the tune. The search for notes matching the melody in her mind becomes her raison d'être. Anna's project focuses on how the examination of devices can bring understanding of human behaviour and in this particular case, the story of a character. It is a kind of cinematic experience where the viewer learns about the protagonist by viewing the utensils used in their research. An essential part of this storytelling is the short movie that introduces this fictional persona.
